Obituaries
December 20, 2023
Ella Emig

Ella Virginia Emig, 84, of Olla, passed from this life on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at her home in Olla.

She was born July 4, 1939 in Olla, to the union of her parents, Hershel F. Nugent and Nora Snoddy Nugent.

Ella enjoyed baking and working in her yard. She had a green thumb and raised beautiful flowers. She loved her family and nothing was more important to her. She often traveled with her sister and they made many memories going on family vacations. Ella loved her children and adored her grandchildren. Time spent with them brought her much joy. Ella will be greatly missed but leaves so many wonderful memories for her family to cherish.

Ella expressed a desire to be cremated and requested that no services be held and her family has lovingly honored her wishes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Emig; and her siblings, Brenda McClary (Russell), Delton Nugent (Willie Mae) and Hansell Nugent.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Peggy Jacobs (Jon); her son, Eddie Emig (Lecia); her sister-in-law, Debbie Nugent; grandchildren, Kyle Griffin and Kaylee Franke; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
