The following individuals were arrested last week and booked into the LaSalle Parish Jail: Daniel Hujaifa, 24, of Bangladesh, was arrested December 22 by the Jena Police Department for three counts of battery of a correctional facility employee.

Charlotte Kelly, 36, of Jonesville, was arrested December 22 by the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office for theft of motor vehicle.

Kameron Meredith, 22, of Jena, was arrested December 24 by the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office for open container, driving under suspension and aggravated flight from an officer.

Jonathan Collins, 50, of Jena, was arrested December 25 by the Louisiana State Police for improper equipment and driving while intoxicated third offense.

Jeromy Neil Thompson, 37, of Jena, was arrested December 27 by the LaSalle Parish Sheriff’s Office for theft.

Billy G. Friend, 33, of Boyce, was arrested December 27 by the Louisiana State Police for driving left of center, failure to yield, unsafe vehicle, proper equipment required, no MVI, possession of stolen firearm, violation of protective order, no driver’s license, unauthorized use of movable, resisting an officer, reckless operation, felon in possession of firearm, improper lane use, no seat belt, resisting by failure to identify, introduction of contraband into penal institution and a warrant from the city of Alexandria for contempt of court.
