Mark Escalon

Mark Steven Escalon, 59, passed from this life unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at LSU Ochsners in Shreveport, LA.

He was born August 24, 1964 in Monroe, LA to the union of his parents, Manuel Lee Escalon and Carolyn Richmond Escalon.

Mark was down to earth. He was a happy person, fun loving and always full of bull. Mark loved his kids, grandkids and his dog, Sissy. He enjoyed spending time with them all.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 6, 2024, at Fellowship Baptist Church, Columbia, LA, with Bro. John Jones officiating and Bro. Chris Bennett assisting.

Interment followed in the Fellowship Cemetery, under the direction of Riser Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his uncle, Rick Richmond.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Steven Escalon and Bo Escalon (Becca); grandchildren, Quinn Escalon, Kash Escalon, Austynn Escalon, Emily Escalon, Noah Escalon and Asher Escalon; a brother, Tim Escalon; and two sisters, Cheryl Brockner and Angela Knight.
