Jackie Dickey Sr.

Jackie Ray Dickey Sr., 63, of Olla, passed from this life on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

He was born February 4, 1960 in Urania, LA to the union of his parents, William Joseph Dickey and Vera Beatrice Austin Dickey.

He was retired from West Frazier Lumber in Winnfield, LA.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2024, in the Chapel of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home, Jena, LA, with Revs. Evelyn Thompson and Chris Bennett officiating.

Interment followed in the Eden Cemetery, Trout, LA, under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jackie Ray “JJ” Dickey Jr.; and brother, Doyle Dickey.

Those left to love and miss him include his wife of 40 years, Patricia Ann Ireland Dickey; son, Dustin Dickey (Felicity) of Grayson, LA; daughter, Brandie Dickey Womack (Zack) of Olla, LA; two brothers, Gary Dickey of Kelly, LA and Don Dickey (Heather) of Urania, LA; nine grandchildren, Kolman Cummings, Braedan Cummings, Nathan Cummings, Lizzie Garner, Claire Dickey, Marley Womack, Wyatt Womack, Iley McHenry and Kulter Womack; a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers were Word Lindsey, T.J. Ireland, Warren Ireland, Don Dickey Jr., Zack Dickey and Micheal Dickey.

Honorary pallbearers were his grandsons, Kolman Cummings, Braedan Cummings, Nathan Cummings, Kulter Womack and Wyatt Womack.
