The Jena Giants came into last week’s play needing some wins to help their chances of making the playoffs. The Giants have played everyone close in district but just haven’t been able to break through for that big win. They would have a great chance on Tuesday, January 30, as the Caldwell Spartans came to town. This would be the first matchup between the teams as they were supposed to play a couple of weeks ago but the game got postponed due to the icy weather.
