Adept at biscuit making is Gloria Williams (below), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. O. Williams of Olla. Gloria and other LaSalle Parish 4-H club members this week are celebrating national 4-H club week throughout the U.S. The young lady shown above has entered the 4-H club biscuit making contest two years, giving demonstrations in the making of drop biscuits. Only recently she gave a similar demonstration to the entire Olla home demonstration club. Presently, she is making bid plans for the parish 4-H achievement day contests and hopes again to be a parish winner so that she may compete in the individual bread making demonstration at the state 4-H short course in Baton Rouge next summer.
