The LaSalle Lady Tigers have claimed at least a share of the District 3-1A title with a 17-0 win over Northwood-Lena last week. The Lady Tigers are 3-1 in district play with the lone loss coming to St Mary’s.

Since that first loss the Lady Tigers have only allowed three runs in the next three district games. The district title will come down to a game this week between Logansport and Montgomery. The winner of this game will only have one district loss also. So, LaSalle and the winner of this upcoming game will share the title of district champions.

The Lady Tigers did not make an error in this contest. Allie Murphrey had the most chances on defense with nine.

LaSalle has climbed the rankings settling in at number 4 in the Division IV Non-Select softball. Now with two weeks left in the regular season the Lady Tigers are looking to make a post season run back to Sulphur, Louisiana, to the Fastpitch 56 State Tournament.

Continue packing the stands and cheering on these girls that have worked so hard to make this school and community proud. Hope to see you at the games.
