Viva Las Vegas
Back in the mid 70’s I was living at home with my mother and sisters. I worked in construction and had just finished my work at the Rodemacher Power Plant in Boyce and was looking forward to a few days off. Unfortunately, my oldest sister was moving to Las Vegas to be a card dealer at the Frontier Casino and my mother wanted me to travel with her and fly back. I resisted, so she told me it is just not safe for a girl to travel cross country alone. I told her if anyone stole Karla, they would bring her back the next day, but I finally agreed.
