Relocating from Tennessee to LaSalle Parish five years ago, Walt Breithaupt, his wife Katy, and his two sons have found a forever home in Jena. Not only have they found a home, he’s discovered his true talent and calling in reproducing and crafting antique furniture productions in his woodshop. Not your everyday carpenter, Walt focuses on creating unique pieces that fit into homes or settings without compromising the integrity of the original bones of the home or site. He never does mass reproductions, each item he creates is unique.
