Sarah Charlotte Mitchell Sikes, 86, of Olla, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at her residence.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Urania Pentecostal Church, Urania, LA, with Bro. Jade Tolbert officiating.
Interment followed in the Olla Cemetery, Olla, LA, under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Alexandria, LA.
She was born August 29, 1937. She loved to take pictures. She was a collector of many items, and she loved to shop at Wal-Mart.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Irene Stockstill Mitchell; father, Challis Ventres Mitchell; sister, Elaine; and brothers, Henry Monroe Mitchell, Challis Leo Mitchell, James Edward Mitchell, Perry Mitchell and Shelby Donald Mitchell.
Those left to cherish his memory include her son, Overton Clifford Perot (LaJhon); companion, Billy Ray Jones; son, Charles Harris of Grayson, LA; daughter, Deborah Leigh Harris Moore of Winnsboro, LA; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
