The Centennial Cultural Center Rocket Camp concluded with a launch of three rockets constructed under the supervision of retired LaSalle High School science teacher Prentiss Powell. New altitude records for this activity were set with the successful launching of Estes 2Stage Mongoose rockets and their recovery via parachute, though a few rockets had rather rough landings.
