Mr. and Mrs. Sam Hailey of Nebo and all their 12 children gathered recently at the old home place for the first Hailey family reunion. A total of 48 persons were present with only 8 members of the immediate family absent. Seated below are Mr. and Mrs. Hailey, with the children, ranging from youngest to oldest. Mr. Hailey is a native and life-long resident of LaSalle parish and has farmed his present home place all his life. In recent years he has been in semi-retirement. Mrs. Hailey is the former Eula Methvin of Caldwell Parish. It was the first time that all the children have been gathered.
