I have two wonderful canine companions who rule the once beautifully landscaped front lawn of my home. Their names are Jake, who is a corgi and who was gifted to me by my sister, and Gertie, who is a super hyper Jack Russell who was gifted to my husband by a kind neighbor. Not wishing to have house dogs and certainly not willing to allow the two to become subject to any traffic danger, I eagerly donated the front lawn which joins the covered porch to become the fenced in area for our two puppies. Every day is a new day with Jake and Gertie.
