For an hour and a half, the September 3 meeting of the Jena Town Council was cordial as several residents voiced their support for an ordinance that would have prohibited any new RV parks from being built in the city limits. However, after the ordinance failed to be adopted, supporters tore into council members and left the meeting angrily, vowing to vote members out of office.
