Olla Downtown Homecoming Saturday

In conjunction with LaSalle High School’s annual Homecoming festivities set for Friday, the Town of Olla will once again feature the 2024 Olla Downtown Homecoming Celebration Saturday, September 28, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.

In conjunction with LaSalle High School’s annual Homecoming festivities set for Friday, the Town of Olla will once again feature the 2024 Olla Downtown Homecoming Celebration Saturday, September 28, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.

The event will feature many vendor booths selling various items, food booths with all types of delicious entries and entertainment throughout the day. Activities for children will also be available.

LaSalle High School will be featured early in the day with performances by the LHS Band, Top Kats and Cheerleaders.

Later that night, featured musical guests will perform including the Knuckle Sammich Band and the Mike McKenzie Band.

Olla Mayor Rhonda Elliott encouraged all residents to attend and enjoy the events and to visit throughout the day with each other and those who have returned to Olla for reunions.

She also encouraged everyone to bring their lawn chairs and plan to stay all day have fun with the events.

The Olla 2024 Downtown Homecoming Celebration will take place at the Olla Centennial Square and along Front Street from Central Avenue (LA 127) and Louisiana Street.

Vendor spots are still available and those interested may contact the Olla Town Hall at (318) 495-5151 to reserve a spot or for any additional information. More information may also be found by emailing mayor@townofolla.com.
