“Without Sammy Franklin’s involvement with the LaSalle Parish Library, there is no doubt we would not be where we are today,” stated La-Salle Parish Librarian Andrea Book. “It is with great pride that we dedicate the LaSalle Parish Library Headquarters in Jena to Mr. Sammy J. Franklin.”
