In the Civics Classroom at JHS
28th Judicial District Court Judge J. Christopher Peters visited Jena High School Civics classes recently, teaching students about the Judicial Branch of government and the separation of powers. Along with sharing about various aspects of his profession and how he became a Judge, he also allowed students to ask questions from a wide range of topics, including different types of cases he has presided over. JHS Civics teacher Candace Decker thanked Judge Peters for taking time from his busy schedule to impart his knowledge with her students.
