Elizabeth Nusbaum, 73, of Jena, LA, left this life on Friday, February 7, 2025, in Jena, LA.
Services will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Jena, with Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter officiating.
She was born November 25, 1951, in Urania, LA, to Hollis Eugene Miles Sr. and Nettie Onesia Mills.
Elizabeth was a kindhearted, soulful woman who touched the lives of all who knew her. Elizabeth was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She deeply loved her family and her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She spent half of the year in Elkhart, Indiana, with her daughter and grandchildren, and the other half with her beloved sister, Yvonne Morrow, in Jena, Louisiana. While in Jena, Elizabeth attended Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Trout.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Nusbaum; and her sisters, Mary Smith and Essie Kleinleine.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Michelle Hall (Bradley); her grandchildren, Zack Manning (Brittany) and Dylan Manning of Indiana; her great-grandchildren, Rory, Brooklyn, Lucy and Emma; her sisters, Yvonne Morrow of Jena, LA, Bobbie Vistine (Tony) of Crowley, TX and Barbara Parsons (Joe) of Paradise, TX; her brother, Hollis Miles Jr. (Cindy) of Osage, AR; brother-in-laws, Gilbert Smith of Columbia, LA and Kenneth Kleinlein of Mt. Sterling, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
