In 2014, the Town of Olla elected its second female mayor in town history: Mayor Rhonda Gough Elliott. Mayor Elliott, who had served as pro tem mayor for nine months prior to the election, officially took office in March of that year and has continued working to improve the facilities and services for the citizens of Olla.
