The LHSAA has released the baseball playoff brackets this afternoon, which begin next week.

Both the Jena Giants and the LaSalle Tigers will play next week, with their game dates and times not yet set but will be held between Tuesday-Saturday, April 22-26. The higher seed is always the home/host team until the state tournament in Sulphur.

Jena #7, received a bye for the first round and will host the winner of the Doyle #10 and Red River #23 in the second round in Division III Non-Select. A win in the second round will see them with a possible date with Erath #2, in the quarterfinals for a trip to Sulphur.

LaSalle #14, will host Homer #19 in the first round in Olla next week (date/time not yet set) in Division IV Non-Select. A win in the first round will see them travel to DeQuincy #3, who received a bye for the first round. A victory over DeQuincy will see them with a possible date with Welsh #2 in the quarterfinals for a trip to Sulphur.
