Easter bonnets, laced gloves, pastel spring dresses and matching purses with shoes were once the Easter Sunday style for girls of all ages, including my sister, myself and all my Bailey cousins. Young and old alike planned their special Easter attire for weeks in advance and no sacrifice was too great to make it all come together in the colorful palette of spring. We thought we were something - dressed in our finery and going to Sunday School to show it off was at was top on our list. The church pews were filled with lovely, arrayed worshippers and the focus soon shifted from our finery to the timeless story of the One who died for our sins and rose again in victory!
