Jacie’s Essay – TCA – Tamara Robert’s Class

My name is Jacie, and I have loved DARE since I started DARE! And I want to share four lessons that have been my most favorite since Mrs. Jenny Parker has taught me them. The drug lesson is one of my favorites because if you did drugs, it would affect the way your mind and body works. Stress is my 2nd favorite lesson because stress can cause any strain, pressure or excitement felt about a situation or an event. Bullying is my 3rd favorite lesson because I learned that bullying is wrong because it’s an aggressive or unwant-ed behavior used again and again to isolate, harm or control another person. The Help Network is my 4th favorite because when a person or a group of friends is around, you can call on them for advice, help, encouragement and guidance. Here are three goals and three things I am going to do and use from DARE when I get older. 1. I am not going to smoke. 2. I am not going to chew tobacco. 3. I am going to take care of my body. And there are three things I am going to do in the future. 1. I am going to help a friend out. 2. I am going to stand up for myself and my friends. And 3. I am going to be a good citizen!
