My mama’s lovely face is forever etched in my mind. Her perfectly shaped, uniquely olive-green eyes…her curly black hair- which she abhorredcascading on her shoulders…the understanding quiet smile that would soothe my troubles…the stern look that would stop me dead in my tracks. She was the most beautiful mama I knew or have known, and she was and will forever be the essence of who I am.
