All-District Diamond Filled With Tigers & Giants

Recently released All-District Team selections proved that LaSalle Parish softball and baseball teams are producing the top athletes in the district.

Headlining the All-District teams was LaSalle Lady Tiger Allie Murphrey and Jena Lady Giant Kiette Cooper, who each won the coveted Most Valuable Player award in their respective districts.

Joining them with high honors were the two parish softball head coaches, LaSalle’s Derek White and Jena’s Sarah Roark, each winning District Coach of the Year in their respective districts.

Both LaSalle and Jena softball teams were their district champions, LaSalle in District 3-1A and Jena in District 2-3A. Jena would eventually win State Runner-Up in Division III Non-Select and LaSalle would win the State Championship in Division IV Non-Select.
