The older I get the more nostalgic and sentimental I am becoming. I can hear an old song or see a picture from yesterday, and I get somewhat taken with the memories. It reminds me of a popular song from my youth that sang, “Time makes you bolder, even children get older and I’m getting older too.” The lyrics never fail to touch me, occasionally making me all tearyeyed. The song’s message hits a note in my heart, and the essence of my sentimentality is that “I’m getting older too”- but life and God have been so good!
