Surprise Blessings
Being a Hospice Chaplain I often find myself in some unusual situations with unusual people. Many times, I go into a situation “flying blind.” I usually get a text stating we have a new patient and due the HIPPA laws I don’t even know their name. I have to crank up the computer and go to our internal messaging to even know who and where they are. We have what is called an intake form that gives basic information and diagnosis, and sometime all the form is not filled out.
