“Buildings are the fingerprints of a community – it’s what distinguishes it from other places,” stated Brian Davis, Executive Director of the Louisiana Trust for Historic Preservation. “For instance, when you see the historic Bank of Jena building (in downtown Jena), you know you’re home.”
