November 10 is a special day to a few, proud people. On this day, November 10, 1775, my Marine Corps came alive. It all started a few months after the Battles of Lexington and Concord in a place known as Tun Tavern. This Philadelphia brewhouse gave rise to one of the worlds most formidable fighting forces, then known as the Continental Marines. This group would recruit others to fight for freedom from tyranny.
