Thanksgiving and Christmas revolve around the family meals at the Mayo household; specifically favorites such as cornbread dressing and coconut pies. These two delectable dishes are exalted and lifted high by the men in the clan, particularly my husband. Therefore, I have opted to label these special dishes as the holiday ‘man-u’ instead of the traditional term ‘menu’. Somehow it just seems fitting.
