Dear Editor, On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, I received a frantic phone call from my mother. A tree had fallen across the road near her home, blocking her from leaving to take our grandson to the doctor. He had been stung several times by wasps or yellow jackets, and because he is allergic, every minute mattered.
