During their regular meeting held last week, the Tullos Town Council approved the introduction of Ordinance 2025-002, which would increase the annual salary of the Tullos Police Chief. Mayor Karla Cockerham brought the item up for discussion at the meeting after seeing the Town’s annual audit review. The audit revealed that the Police Chief’s position is paid significantly less than the officers serving under him and neighboring towns’ Chief of Police positions.
