Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) celebrated a year of significant accomplishments and milestones in 2025. The college was ranked as the best community college in Louisiana and received national recognition from the Aspen Institute for the third consecutive engagement as one of the top community colleges in the nation. CLTCC also recorded continued graduate and enrollment growth throughout the year. In addition, the college announced an upcoming leadership transition with the retirement of Chancellor Dr. James R. “Jimmy” Sawtelle III and the naming of Executive Vice Chancellor of Academic and Student Affairs Dr. Heather S. Poole as Chancellor-elect.
