Holding History in His Hands
Jena resident Reggie Ingram–retired educator, school principal, oilfield entrepreneur, and family patriarch–has been roaming the rivers, woods, and countrysides of LaSalle and Catahoula Parishes all of his life. It’s hard to name a place that he hasn’t left his footsteps at some point and time. Just into his eighties, Ingram has many stories to tell and experiences to share, especially from yesteryear: finding and collecting pieces of history–specifically arrowheads and other early relics left behind from indigenous people.
