There is an old saying that goes, “To err is human, to forgive is divine’. It’s an excellent mentality, and I contend that it is one that needs a good revival and/or reintroduction to our not-so ‘genteel’ society. I have personally experienced the lack of this practice and perhaps have failed to extend it when I needed to have done so. Nonetheless, I think forgiveness is an essential quality in a successful societal infrastructure, and I know the Good Lord expects us to embrace the art of forgiveness... that is if we want to be like Him.
