There are some sports I only watch once every four years. While football and baseball remain my all-time favorite sports, they are followed by softball and some college basketball. Professional sports were abandoned by me long ago when those big leaguers in football, baseball and basketball succumbed to money, fame and social justice causes. To me, no athlete should make more money than our military or emergency responders… period. And I’m not watching you because I care about who you’re voting for or what your opinion is about the latest social calamity. Just play ball, or in the words of my sweet wife, “Stay in your lane.”
