KALB News Channel 5’s Meteorologist Ian Beck visited third graders at Good Pine Middle School on February 25 to share with them knowledge about all types of weather conditions.

Beck – seen regularly on the Alexandria television station – talked about hurricanes, tornadoes and severe weather, and took questions for nearly an hour in the school gym prior to moving the interactive program outside to view the station’s First Alert Storm Tracker customized pickup truck.

Students were able to learn all about how the truck is used during severe weather and enjoyed looking at all the technology inside and outside of the vehicle.

The school thanked Beck for coming and sharing his insights with the third graders.
