When Day is Done
One of the loveliest times of the day is dusk – when the sun has set leaving soft patches of blues, grays and pinks behind the tree lines, painting a palette that is both peaceful and quiet. When the weather allows, that’s when I love to sit out on my back deck, looking through the forest silhouette and listening to the nearby frogs singing their goodnight songs. Somehow, breathing comes easier and the heart beats kinder. It is a perfect retreat for my mind and soul- a haven of sight and sound that can only be achieved by the Master Creator.
