The Jena Giant mascot has been a symbol of pride for Jena High School and the surrounding community for almost one hundred years. It has unfailingly embodied school spirit for past and present students and alumni and has consistently led the charge of excellence in sports, including football, basketball, baseball, softball, band, and academics among staff and students. This past football season, the unwavering Giant mascot could be seen on the sidelines cheering the players, coaches, and fans in the bleachers to victory as the team played its way into the LHSAA Division II State Championships taking home the esteemed title of first runners up in a display of unmatched rigor and success.
