April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month
A high school graduate with a promising college football career had his life changed in an instant. “I look at the road and see a lady,” said Owen Techster. “The road curves and she keeps straight, looking at a device. She crosses the double yellow line. I panicked and swerved to miss her and overcorrected. Spinning out of control, I hit the guardrail, flipped over into the embankment and the roof caved in, breaking my neck.”
