Roll Call
If you had asked me as a kid, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”, my answer would never have been (and never was) “a teacher.” In fact, during my high school years when my classmates and I were making plans for college, my aspirations always revolved around journalism. However, I soon found myself taking courses in education and as fate and Jesus would have it, I graduated as a certified teacher for grades 1st-8th; and I’ve never regretted my choice. Now retired, I still have an immense respect and appreciation for my fellow educators, and a love for my former students.
