Local landowners gather to learn about Prescribed Burn Association

More than two dozen landowners, agency staff and fire professionals met last week at the Caldwell Parish Library to launch efforts to form a Central Louisiana Prescribed Burn Association (PBA), a cooperative aimed at helping private landowners safely conduct prescribed fires on their property.
