The Southern Baptist Convention has found itself at the center of a heated national debate, and social media has done what social media does best - turned a theological discussion into a cultural battleground. Before going any further, let me be clear that this editorial is not about taking a side in that debate. I have my personal convictions, but this is to address something totally different.
