Glen Womack, R-Harrisonburg, told a crowd at the La Salle Economic Development District’s Legislative Update Forum that lawmakers navigated a budget shortfall to protect infrastructure spending and economic development funding during this year’s session. “LaSalle Parish always shows up and wants to know what’s going on, and it’s just a great community,” Womack, who chairs the powerful Senate Finance Committee said.
