Thank the Lord for teachers, principals, paras, bus drivers, custodians, lunchroom techs and all the other school employees who walk the halls, teach the lessons, cook the meals, transport the kiddos and fill all the other important roles that it takes to have school. As the first school bells ring for the 2026-2027 school year, I tip my hat to these everyday heroes who have backbones of iron, legs that won’t wear out, nerves of steel, and hearts the size of the Grand Canyon. They are the bees’ knees, the fab in fabulous, and the icing on the proverbial cake.
