Glenda Sandifer Cooper is a self-taught gardener who has spent the last five years transforming her home terrain into a stunning landscape. She and her husband, James, are both natives to LaSalle Parish but lived for 30 years in Fairview Alpha, LA, building their lives and careers. Upon their return to the Jena community, Glenda acquired Orvin and Bettye’s Sandifer, her parents’ homeplace. Their adult son, Matt, also made the move with them.
