The Cat’s Meow
There’s an old stray cat on my road that has recently adopted me. He’s such a thoughtful feline making sure that when I drive up, he’s there to greet me with his deceptively mournful meow and his soulful eyes. I think he thinks he’s doing me a favor by sleeping on my front porch and enjoying fine dining on the generic cat food I feel compelled to buy and feed him; and if I buy a cat food flavor he doesn’t appreciate, he just sits there and stares at me with a haughty, superior attitude, turns around, and leaves my offering untouched. Talk about attitude.
