Living in Louisiana, you learn to deal with storms. The Gulf Coast waters and winds ‘bless’ us with hurricanes and spinoff tornadoes that blow our way without our permission. It wasn’t that many years ago that one of those lovely storms landed a very large pine tree through the middle of our home leaving behind tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of damage. We had to deal with the aftermath and rebuild after the storm. It wasn’t fun.
