Through LaSalle Junior High’s Giraffe Heroes Club, students are learning they can be part of the solution by “sticking their necks out” for others, recognizing needs in their school and community, and taking action. The program is built on a simple idea: ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they have the courage to care.
