Jena Lady Giants again headed back to Sulphur!

Jenaâs Janasia Jones (8) is met by her teammates at home plate after blasting a homerun during the Lady Giants 16-0 blowout win over Carroll last Monday in Jena. The Lady Giants (#3) went on to beat Berwick (#14) Wednesday, and Lutcher (#6) Saturday to punch their ticket to the Fast Pitch 56 Tournament this weekend. (See story.)

The Jena Lady Giants had a busy week this past week. The Lady Giants found out on Friday that they would be the #3 seed in the class 3A state playoffs and would be playing #30 Carroll on Monday. The goal for the Lady Giants coming into the playoffs is always to make it to Sulphur.
