North LaSalle Tidbits… “Most Married” woman lived in Urania

In the 1920s and 30s, Urania was the home of the reputed most married woman in the United States. Newspapers all over the country gave front-page publicity to her marriages, which eventually numbered twelve, and her divorces. Her name was Caroline Frost McDonald-Walters-Bronson-Chevalier-Burgess-Gardiner-White-Luigi-Hatfield-Willis-Paschal-McManus. People in Urania just called her Aunt Caroline.
